Dollhouse
I have enjoyed season one and even watched the pilot one which does not make sense since the first series changed everything. Enjoyed it so far and cannot wait for season two. P.S I know it's been cancelled. |

Weather Forecast was Right for once
The said it would be minus 6 last night, and it was when I got up this morning. The car took about five minutes to get ready as the engine needed warmed up and myself scrapping the windows clean. One good thing it gets you awake very quickly that cold. Driving in proper Ice was slight neverous since not used to how the car handles in the ice. Old car was fine, but this one is slightly heavy at the back. One bad point, I know it's ice but why does the car flash up warning on the dashboard there is a risk of ice. Current Mood: awake |

This month is going to be fun, since only have two days off until Christmas. Both Sunday's, so that's not bad, the only hassle is I get to see work everyday from the 14th to Christmas Eve. Very short of staff and therefore since in specialised role I don't get much of a choice. Making it up for some decent holidays in the summer. Might even make one role-playing event next year or a wargame, not sure what to do. Since fuel costs are so expensive yet again up here. |

Looking forward to Wednesday
First of all not starting work until 8am, and working until 4pm. So not bad, only going to work in the dark and home in the dark. I will be updating 15 walk-logs, and walk sequencing 15 deliveries as well. Since after two nasty accidents that wooden decking is a danger when wet. I have to make sure all walk-logs are up to date and covering the new dangers. Problem is all need printed out in A5, and by end of play no A5 paper at work. Current Mood: bouncy |

Tidy-up
I looked at my room and decided yes it's time for a clean-up, and sort everything out in order. The miniatures were in a good shape but the other books, dvd's need to be put in order and new storage units for them. So done the initial tidy-up, now to dust and hover the room. Best part get to use the paper shredder, that is always fun. Current Mood: busy |

Awake
Very much had a good sleep for once, slept for about 7 hours. Which for me is very good. So now wide awake in front of the computer reading e-mails, and also figuring out what I need to do next. Following list: a. Fill up car with diseal (have discount so going to use it) b. Sort out miniatures that need painting into the correct groups, e.g. bazooka teams c. Order niece and nephews christmas present from Amazon US (cheaper) d. Start to tidy up the room, but need to do more in sorting out stuff. e. Order British Army paint, since I thought yes the Soviet Green I needed for high-lightning would be in the Soviet Paint Set. No it's in the British Paint set. Derek :) |

Patience
Just waiting for some miniatures to dry before adding more chocolate brown down as primary colour. Painting is fun, but just need to get more done instead of playing computer games. |

What did I do at work today?
All I did with the help of my line-manager take off a scissors handle, which was weilded onto a frame. Claw-hammers are the business for this, only had to make sure no sharp edges which we failed at. So to cover up the sharp-edges we covered it with a health and safety notice so no-one would go near it. Accidents at work, had to hear about the dangers of wooden planking on wet-weather, injuries were ouch, 8 broken ribs for one and broken arm for the other. I told you the planking was after us, but no-one was listening. Just now working out a small to-do-list and also finish writing off a plot or two for a game. Just trying to get the right image in my head before writing it. Current Mood: artistic |

Thank you Amazon
My amazon order (first part) arrived today of : Dragon Age (Origins) guide and Trueblood series One. I do like Trueblood for the witt comments and the amazing music at times. The opening is good, and feels perfect for a Lousiana setting. That's my weeked off taken care of, so I be watching True-blood and playing Dragon Ages. So how is everyone today? Current Mood: happy |

Very Cold this morning
Car was telling myself "Ice Warning" when I started it, no prize car. Since I came out to a totally white car, with the ice being thick but not too bad. A gentle ten-minute scrapping and I was legal to drive it on the road, even better found out the car has heated wing-mirrors, so one less piece of glass to scrap. Drive was the usual, since I know each of the bad sections of the road, after five years starting before the gritting teams, you know what area's are bad. Turned out to be a good day for working outside, even with a thick mist coming off the sea. Horror movies came to mind, but finished early and back into a warm office for a few hours. Apart from that nothing else is happening.... Current Mood: cold |

Inspiration
Had excellent ideas for plots for Blackwater while waiting in the Outdoor Patients in Raigmore Hospital. Waiting and doing nothing my brain came up with several idea's. Where better to place a HQ than in the underground of a hospital area, with police presence in A&E to keep people away from them. |

I have a confusion to make
Yes I am one of these people who love filling in forms at work, I was sent to do something and someone had to find me after four hours not been seen or heard. Just to myself making sure you cover all aspects of the work and double-checking is a good process to go through, since it allows my mind to think of other things. I work out Wargaming lists during this time, and work out TT scenario's as well. Just keeping my mind occupied is good otherwise I start thinking other stuff I don't want to. Apart from going to the sports club at 7:30am and finding some little brat left a tap on last night, thank goodness someone else turned it off. Since the male changing room was flooded had to change in the females. Since the gym operates a policy you can use it night and day as long as you clean up and turn off equipment as you go. Nice to be trusted and even better very cheap at Fifteen pounds a month. So day two of the new work-out, things did not go bad until the finial five minutes of the cycling, when my legs decided to turn into lead. Happy I completed it, and then came home to have a shower (not a good idea to use the female changing room for that). Being a good child today taking my mother to her monthly diabetic class, also getting lunch bought. So win win for myself. Everyone take care and have a nice day :) Current Mood: awake |

Going up the next level (OK adding 5 minutes to your routine). I feel really tired but feel good for it. Tried to play FE on the computer but cannot due to being tired now. Had a long post on something, but it can wait.... |

Painting Miniatures
Just started to paint them, this is going well so far. Then again it's only base coat of "Brown Violet" so far. Asking questions has been good on the FOW website and got some good tips I am following. Also the new DVD player arrived, even better got a very good deal on a Toshiba multi-player. So I be ordering more DVD's from the US now, especially "Sanctry". Derek :) Current Mood: energetic |

I forgot to take the ice-scrapper out of the old car. So far the frost has been hitting every second day. Now need to make a trip to Halfords just for this one important piece of equipment. Derek :) |

Fun at work
I had to do a driver defensive course at work, you would think yes go out with someone and learn from my mistakes. Sounds very sensible but not if your the company I work for. Instead it was sit in front of a computer and learn stuff, do hazard spotting (curse little children hiding I can never see). Passed it, and signed the next seven pages of information before they can trust me with a van. I been driving vans with the company for the last 14 years, so hopefully nothing ever happens. That was my fun day at work... Current Mood: bored |
