Weekend and Car
Did nothing much apart from clean the house and also put up the curtain rails after washing them. Get dusty very quick in this area with the amount of sand blowing with the wind. Started playing Age of Conan on a free 14 day trial, a lot more stable than the first time and my little demonologist is now level 27 nearly 28. Paying the car today, then collecting tommorow since needs one day notice to get road tax and other details with it. I put up more information about it when I get it. Going back to diseal engines, sicne fed up of petrol ones. Not bad only £132 a year road-tax due to the engine and age of the car. Driving
Took the parents car out today for a drive, since they wanted a second opinion on it. Very nice car, only problem is myself not used to 6-gearbox, so that was fun. Quiet car and also hitting above the speed limit is very easy, going up hill on a crawler line easy hitting above it. Enjoyed the drive and still getting used to 6-gearbox. | | Friday, July 10th, 2009 | | 3:39 pm |
Forms are fun
I feel at work currently all I am doing is filling in forms. Admin is fun but not this much fun :) Apart from that, need a new cycle seat since the one I have is starting to hurt when cycling too long. Fitness is getting worse then again I need to do stuff, also found a great way of doing press-ups with cheating, thanks to a "Hello" magazine article. Best stories are in peoples friend, since I read that when eating breakfast before going to work. Just waiting for a 11g file to download so I can stuff. Exercise
Finding using the bike is doing better than excepted kept up to my speed of 12mph into a wind speed of about 30 mph. So very happy I can keep this up, and feeling better for it. Find out Monday about the car, so fingers crossed. Current Mood: accomplished | | Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 | | 12:34 pm |
Cheers
Got a really good deal on a brand new bed from the most expensive shop in the area. So not complaining I could actually get to sleep without feeling like my back was going to break. I know I should have got one last year but budgets to buy things come into nowadays. | | Monday, July 6th, 2009 | | 5:39 pm |

Car
Well its decided that one of the front electric windows will not close. Thinking about it going into the bank and see about a loan to get a new car. It's over 11 years old and needs replacing, don't think spending over £600 when its worth £300 is worth it. So now car hunting, so looking at a Honda or a Toyto. Get a deserved Kicking
Well I got what I deserved, broke the golden rule never post when angry since you end up going too far. However some points I like to rise: a. This initial post was not about the person posting out the message about dropping the ANST position. However someone wrote a comment on someone's LJ that made myself just see red. b. I have been offering to help but never heard anything back from anyone at all about writing anything. That's it. | | Thursday, June 25th, 2009 | | 3:55 pm |

Fallout Three - More notes
Finished off more of the game, still have about 40 area's of the main map to uncover. However went into the Deathclaw sanctury with Farst and killed everyone I could find. Pitty could not destroy the eggs of the creatures of hell. Have found the dog companion and happy :) So that's myself set for level 30 in another few hours of play. Completed Anchorage and also the Pitt addition download area's. Blowing up cars with enclavie troopers beside them is the new win factor. No exp but it's fun to see cars explode and picking up the pieces. Anchorage was a good download and enjoyed it, only thing was not American. So everytime someone went "GO USA", thought why!! Then rembered I am playing a US Special Forces Officer. It was a strange download and will not spoil it in the end. Pitts was based in the steel city. Not long to play the main quest but finding the steel ignots took over three hours. Good download and also morality questions it raised was interesting in a computer game. A new download is avaible in the next few weeks, so I will be getting this and looking to get Fallot: Las Vegas. I now know my way around Washington DC, still have to visit the capital building and play with more Super-mutants. Current Mood: ecstatic | | Saturday, June 20th, 2009 | | 9:54 am |
Long Week
Not too bad, the cycle to work and home has been good, even into a gale forcewind. Friday was the worst day for the wind and moving about 1000 kg's of D2d to peoples bench's. So nice work out and waiting to go out on delivery at 10am. Then back to reading... Current Mood: tired | | Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 | | 7:55 pm |
Fallout 3 Expansion completed
Finished the expansion and in the final area I used 20 first-aid packs to get through. Not giving it away but great fun completing the quest line and the scene's of the end was amazing. Now just going to finish off exploring and complete the game. Still large area's of the game to explore. Next game will be Fear 2 to complete then back to Fallout 3. Fallout Three
Finished the main quest and before someone mentions I am currently a living saint of the wastelands. I just seem to be doing good deeds and getting the rewards. One piece of advice I found don't go deathclaw hunting since when two attack at once you die fast... Thanks to Mr C for pieces of advice and also currently only level 19 so one more level to go before I hit the max before buying the download for getting to level 30. One thing I am shocked at is how much I enjoyed playing a FPS type of game. Weapon of choice: Long-range: Plasma Rifle Medium-range: Chinese Assault Rifle Short-range: Combat Shotgun Armour: Shade Hat:- Perception + 1 Recc Power Armour That's about it, I built up a sniper type build for the character. Overall. I really enjoyed the game and the plot and how my character is a Knight of the Brotherhood of Steal, and a member of the family, and even better Hero of the wastelands. Squirrel Updates
The Red Squirrels are moving into town, since had to physically stop the van to stop running over two of them in the Westend of town (the posh part near the sea). So that is more area's I have to take care of not running over the wee one's. There seem's to be a greater increase in their numbers due to more plotting of hardwoods in the surrounding estates over the last twenty years. Not seen a Dolphin yet from the Harbour probably keeping closer to fort georgia for the salmon runs. I like watching squirrels or dolphins. Bonus Paid Today
Not bad just got paid a bonus today which was not a bad sum. Wish i was taking home the net pay all the time, but only happens once a year. So paid off some bills, and but some computer games and also DVD Regensises Series 2. Now waiting to go out in the nice weather to do a delivery, really sunny. Getting car checked out today by someone at work think it's either dirt in the fuel pipes or a blocked fuel filter the way the car is acting. Have a good weekend whatever your doing and enjoy yourself. Current Mood: happy | | Friday, May 22nd, 2009 | | 9:13 am |
Day Off
Happy having a day off today, since it's been a long week. Election material is all in, so all being delivered by the time-limits given by what type of addressing it is. Now I caught a bit of "Question Time", are the general public that stupid. You don't vote for an PM, you vote for the party who selects the PM. It's been explained so many time. I am angry about MP's money, and have to say go for the very tough Scottish Parliment system. Where 90% of it is rejected. Noticed most of the claims are from MP's living very close to London, not all of them but some of them. Compared to the claims by the MP's of the Western Isles or the Orkney and Sheltand islands. New Keyboard
Forget I took in my old keyboard to use at work, since the works computer keyboard finally decided to die after nine years of abuse from members of staff. I have saved money since have new shiny works computer with new keyboard, so I can take my old one home. The other stuff arrived so now need to buy some books on D-Day and the diary of Von Luck so I can understand more the movements of the battlefield and the actions. Have not decided yet to field the US 2nd Armoured Divison or just go for 21st Panzer Division with it's strange DIY vehicle creations. The 21st Divison had the equivalient of a scrap team challenge that created weird and wonderful vehicle creations for it. Now sitting and waiting to go out on delivery after finishing off all my admin tasks for today, since most of it was just reporting on items delivered by X Party.
